Spring & Summer 2015 Wardrobe Essentials

3/17/2015

It's official, spring and summer 2015 shopping has begun!
The warmer weather is calling your name and it's time to plan your wardrobes for the coming seasons. Although I personally want almost everything when it comes to clothes, there are a few key pieces I think are a must for this spring and summer.

Stripes have been a popular pattern for a long time, but this year more brands have introduced navy and white striped pieces in several categories. The navy and white striped jacket from Ralph Lauren has to be my favorite. Along with that, everyone needs a good denim jacket and anorak in their closet.

Even if a piece of clothing is sold for a man, if I like it, I'll buy it for myself. Southern Tide pullovers, even though they're for men, are perfect for the warmer seasons when it gets chilly at night or by the shore. A baseball cap, my favorite from Vineyard Vines, is also perfect for not only keeping the sun out of your eyes but keeping your hair out of your face too.

One type of clothing that I could always use more of is dresses. When it's hot out, it's so much easier to just toss on a single piece of clothing and have your outfit already done. A shift dress is so chic and effortless, and an absolute staple in my spring and summer wardrobe.

Handbags carry our whole lives in them, especially during the warmer seasons. A sturdy tote is perfect for carrying everything you need and cutouts and straw details are spring and summer handbag necessities.

And of course, what spring and summer would be complete without a pair of sandal wedges and aviator sunglasses.

I hope my spring and summer 2015 essentials list has helped you all!
Go ahead and make your shopping lists, because the warmer weather is right around the corner!
